A fridge sound buzzes high above from a vent; a red mouth attracts, absorbs and draws you forwards as you encounter a body-length stainless steel table. Drawn further on and into a black cavity space an intimate screen plays short video clips relating to processes and actions that may previously have been performed in this sterile environment. Upon exiting this cavity bronze mouth casts appear to have been extracted from the body and rubber plugs and cones are arranged on an organ table, with
the potential to be implanted.
the potential to be implanted.Through an installation of elements; sculpture, photography, sound and video I would like to present an investigation of the human body. My intention is to project a sense of absorption and protrusion, humour and intrigue, erotic and morbid ambiguous imagery.
